We meet fortnightly and the venue varies (please refer to the programme below for information).

All walks start at 10 a.m. unless otherwise stated and are usually around 5 miles and of no more than medium difficulty. We generally finish with a pub lunch or similar, but there is no obligation to stay. Please inform the leader if you intend to walk (not later than 9.00 pm on the evening before). If there is any doubt about the walk going ahead because of the weather, please ring the leader on the morning of the walk.

If you are leading a walk it is sensible to have a mobile phone with you, if you have one, and to make your number available to the other walkers so if anyone is delayed in reaching the meeting point or needs to contact you for any reason once you have left home, they can do so.

14 October - Hexham to Corbridge linear walk
Meet at 10 am at Hexham bus station. We'll walk up to Duke's House wood and thence to Corbridge via Dilston and Devil's Water. Lunch is at the Angel, Corbridge; bus back (unless you have brought your pogo-stick). If you are Corbridge-based you may prefer to bus to Hexham in time for the 10 o'clock start.
- The Angel have provided this menu and have asked for numbers and pre-orders "by the weekend" so could you let me know by Friday evening? Please send me a text or a private WhatApp message (there is a risk I'll miss it in the group chat :-/).
