Putting the World to Right 1

Status:Active, open to new members
Contact:
When: Monthly on Wednesday afternoons
2th Wednesday, 1.30 - 3.00

Convenor: Mike

We meet at 1:30 to 3:00pm on the 2nd Wednesday in the Newcastle Building Society in Hexham

The Putting the World Right group gives us a safe space to find common ground and explore differences on various topics underpinning current news plus member-suggested subjects.  Whilst some people read around a subject beforehand, this is not a necessity as we prioritise our own individual experiences.  The only ground rule is that we agree to disagree and treat each other with dignity and respect.

Recent topics include Social Cohesion, Social Skills for the 2030s, Religion, AI and the Humanities, Image and Reality, and Education.  So, wide and varied  subjects where we can share concerns or get on our soap boxes .  We go off on relevant and irrelevant tangents and share a lot of fun as well as our thoughts and feelings.
